Since joining Electric Candle Company in March 2026, I have helped introduce improvements across nearly every part of the business—from product development and manufacturing to advertising, email marketing, retail expansion, and customer experience.
But this journey has been about much more than business.
I traveled to New Orleans with my dog, Dozer, where we met the father-and-son duo who have led Electric Candle Company since the 1990s. As their guests, we experienced some of the best that New Orleans has to offer while learning about the company, its history, and the city it calls home.
I was blown away by the romantic atmosphere of New Orleans—the historic architecture, glowing chandeliers, intimate restaurants, and sense of beauty around every corner. That experience helped inspire the romantic direction we have brought to Electric Candle Company. We are not simply selling electric candles; we are helping people create spaces that feel warm, elegant, and unforgettable.
Since March, I have helped strengthen the brand’s marketing, website, advertising, packaging, product development, and overall positioning. One major milestone was supplying 250 electric candles and candle sleeves for a spectacular bridal suite featured on HGTV’s Castle Impossible. The campaign generated more than one million social-media impressions.
Together, these improvements have helped increase sales by 10×. More importantly, we are building a brand rooted in real relationships, authentic history, and the romance of candlelight—without the flame.
